In 2003, The Kona Coffee and Tea Company opened a coffee shop and retail store. It is a quaint shop that captures the Old Kona style of the era when coffee began to thrive on the Big Island. Under a coffee shack tin roof (inside the store), customers choose coffees, teas, collectible merchandise, t-shirts, and gift packages of exceptional quality.

Visitors can sample award-winning coffee and local Hawaiian treats. Virtual visits to the coffee farm are possible with the 4 minute video tour that plays continually in the store. Also, the coffee roasting machine is inside the store so customers can experience the sights and heavenly smells of roasting coffee beans.
