As Seen On TV: All The Shows Featuring Our Coffee Farm In Kona, Hawaii

"Look ma, I'm on TV!"

We are 100% Kona coffee farmers, first and foremost. But we are also the first to acknowledge the absolutely sacred beauty that exists on our remote, lush Hawaiian coffee and agroforestry farm. This beauty is occasionally sought after by the likes of Hollywood's finest scouting agents for use in television, movie, and print advertising. Most of the time we politely turn down the request to film a production, but a few times...we've said yes. 

Shoot days are always crazy...and are some of our most memorable days on the farm. From the leaked release of the 2024 Toyota Tundra, to Chef Gordon Ramsey's helicopter landing amongst the shrubs in Uncharted, to the grand finale of the Bachelorette nestled amongst our very own coffee trees, these shoot days always have a dream-like quality to them.

If we didn't have these photos, we would seriously doubt whether they even happened, at all.

Toyota Tacoma TRD Shoot

This was supposed to be a top secret shoot that would later unveil the new 2024 Toyota TRD Tacoma...but the images were leaked online within hours of the shoot day and Toyota was forced to announce the truck a bit early! Who did it!?

The muddy shoot day was a perfect one for off-roading on the farm. You can see some of our banana trees behind the truck.

The Bachelorette Final Rose Ceremony

The Bachelorette chose the farm at Kona Coffee & Tea to shoot the final rose ceremony for their Hawaii portion of Season 21 of the show. This took months of planning on our part and was a blast to be a part of.

Uncharted With Gordon Ramsay

Danny Bolton (the son of Dan Bolton, our founder) has been making a name for himself, venturing into TV now for a bit as an avid hunter, diver, and adventurer. He was featured alongside the famed chef Gordon Ramsay in his show Uncharted.

Meat Eater

Another farm feature for Kona Coffee & Tea and Danny Bolton, these exciting and hilarious adventures are a must watch, and the show really exemplifies the natural beauty of the Kona area. Host Ryan Callaghan and team venture onto our family farm for Season 5-Episode 5 of MeatEater's "Cal In The Field," and Season 11, episode 7 of MeatEater.

Hotel Impossible

Check out a young Malia Bolton welcoming TV host Anthony Melchiorri of Hotel Impossible for a shoot day for the books. Need a riveting entrance? Add a helicopter landing! The coffee trees, though a bit annoyed at the wind, were not harmed in the filming of this show. :)

Lebron James Visits Kona Coffee & Tea

So this one wasn't on TV exactly...but we're counting it because HELLO...Lebron James! We were lucky enough to get connected when Lebron expressed interest in visiting a farm, our name got recommended and we got to meet the legend and his crew. He really enjoyed himself in Kona! Please excuse the blurry photo.

So I guess the secret is out and our family farm has made it onto someone's location list in Hollywood. We're proud to have been picked to shed light on Kona coffee farmers and on to the Kona community in a way that is beneficial to everyone. We hope that you enjoy seeing a familiar place when you watch TV.
