Our 6th Annual "First Harvest" - Photos From Our Farm
Our 6th Annual "First Harvest" for Kona Coffee & Tea was a success! We were blessed with a sunny gathering of friends at our coffee farm high in the hills above Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i.
Each year we open our farm to the public, and a small group of employees, friends and family join us for a truly unique and joyous day of coffee cherry picking!
Coffee is made from the seed of a "cherry." Removing the ripe cherries is the first step in the long process towards your perfect cup: It's something we wait all year for, so we always make sure to share it with our community.
Enjoy some photos from our event...you wont want to miss it next year.

We believe in the importance of fostering community. Even with gathering sizes limited, we still managed to have a blast. With protocols in place we ensured a safe outdoor environment and a comfortable, welcoming place to come together.
Regulars to Kona Coffee & Tea café may recognize this friendly face, our café manager Chance Punahele, a cornerstone of our Kona Coffee & Tea community and the Kailua-Kona community in general. Chance combs through the cherries, looking for only the ripe, red ones to pick. From here, we turn them into our beautiful coffee offerings below!
We hope you can join us on the farm next year!
