Fueled by Kona Coffee & Tea

Crossing the finish line after a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bicycle ride, and a 26.2-mile run was more than just completing a race for the 1,527 athletes who landed in Kona to compete; it was the culmination of countless early mornings, endless miles, and unwavering determination.

At Kona Coffee & Tea, we’re proud to have fueled athletes, supporters, and dreamers with locally grown coffee from our farm right here in Kona. Our coffee was more than a beverage, and our café was more than just a caffeine stop: it was the embodiment of aloha, from the first sip at sunrise to the final stretch across the finish line.

Our Partnerships

This year, we proudly partnered with HOKA and AG1 Greens to share our passion for natural performance, endurance, and community. AG1 supported full-body recovery and overall wellness with their nutrition-packed refreshments, HOKA kept us comfortable and cool every step, and Kona Coffee and Tea provided locally-grown coffee to keep everyone energized. Our 2025 Ironman ‘ohana was rooted in movement and nourishment.

Our Sponsored Athlete

One of our sponsored athletes, Christina Vance #630, summarized her Ironman participation as “the ultimate once-in-a-lifetime challenge" and says she couldn't have imagined the experience without the support of her team.

Going from couch to Ironman finisher in two years was only possible by willpower, consistency, recovery, and the right fuel. By training 10-20 hours each week, Vance trusted herself to find strength in the moments she wanted to quit during the race and found a way to keep pushing through to the other side of that arch.

"I loved every second of that race!" she said with a smile on her face. When asked about her favorite part of the sponsorship, she paused to really weigh the benefits before deciding on the best part.

"I met women from all over the world at the cafe in the days leading up to the event- Kat Matthews, who was 2nd in this year's Ironman, and women from different countries like Singapore, France, New Zealand, China, Germany, willing and eager to share their tips with this first-time Ironman athlete."

A Continuation of Greatness

As the sun set over Kailua Bay and the athletes crossed the finish line, we felt immense gratitude for our partnerships, the athletes’ perseverance, and the ability to inspire greatness with our locally grown coffee.

Here’s to every finisher, participant, supporter, medic, and volunteer who made this epic event unforgettable. Let the countdown to Ironman 2026 begin! We’ll be ready, with a 100% Kona coffee in hand.
